Pac-12 Basketball What to Watch
By Mike Vamosi
December is here and the conference still has non-conference games to build up its resume so with that let’s look at what’s on tap this week. I’ve got six things to look at this week in Pac-12 basketball so here we go!
Arizona State Sun Devils centerJordan Bachynski is second in the country in blocks in the early part of the 2012-13 season.
1 Can Southern California get a road victory? The Trojans travel to Lincoln to face Tim Miles 5-1 Nebraska Cornhuskers who are a perfect 4-0 at home.
2 Southern Miss will be in Tucson to face Arizona on Tuesday night, can the Wildcats remain unbeaten with 6-1 Golden Eagles team coming in?
3 Wednesday is fill of solid match-ups: Boise State fresh off winning at 11 Creighton travels to Utah, Southern Cal goes to the Pit and faces ranked New Mexico and Colorado gets to see Larry Eustachy who brings his unbeaten Rams to Boulder.
4 The match-up of the week is Saturday when Colorado travels to an historic Phog Allen Fieldhouse and old friend Kansas.
5 When does the light flick on for UCLA and they figure things out? The Bruins have struggled early in the season and will have six days off before heading to Austin against Texas
6 Arizona State’s Jordan Bachynski is second in the country with 5.0 blocks per game, Jeff Withey is in front with 5.7 a contest. Did anyone else expect this from the Sun Devils junior?
