Friday night the conference got a nice resume win when UCLA took down 7 Missouri 97-94 in overtime at Pauley. I feel that it’s worth mentioning Utah also got a win that was overshadowed by the Bruins win. Here are my six things to look at over the weekend in the conference of champions.

Must mention that UCLA’s Shabazz Muhammed scored 27 points last night in the victory including the game winning three pointer.

An under the radar game this weekend is the Hartford Hawks (7-5) traveling to Colorado (9-2). The Buffs are 5-0 at the Coors Events Center and need to be careful not overlooking the America East school.

In a rematch of a great NCAA tournament game of yester year the Washington Huskies (8-4) travel to face the Connecticut Huskies (9-2) at 4:30 pm which can be seen on ESPN2.

Harvard (6-4) comes to the bay area to tangle with Cal (8-3) both teams could use the RPI boost which this game should provide.

Sunday’s lone game has the Flyers of Dayton (9-3) playing at USC (4-8) which tips at 4 pm on the Pac-12 Network.

Two games on New Year’s Eve which will be mentioned in the next edition of the watch.
