By Mike Vamosi
This weekend the Pac-12 had an up-and-down weekend with some good wins like UCLA beating Missouri at home but did suffer defeats at home to Towson and Harvard. Here are you’re six things to watch as well as the current records.
1 New Year’s Eve hoops in the State of Oregon: Oregon State trying to bounce back from their loss to Towson host Texas-Pan American (7-8) while Oregon hosts Nevada (9-4). Both games can be seen on the Pac-12 Network starting at 2 pm with the Broncs versus Beavers followed by Wolfpack and Ducks.
2 Pac-12 play begins Wednesday when the Utes travel out to Tempe to take on the Sun Devils.
3 Thursday three conference games are on the docket with Colorado at Arizona (5 pm/ESPNU), Stanford at USC (7 pm/ESPNU) and Cal at UCLA (8 pm/FSN)
4 Arizona is still the only team in the conference ranked, they are third in both the AP and coaches polls. Colorado, Oregon and UCLA received votes this week.
5 On the eve of conference play 11 of the 12 teams in the Pac-12 have eight or more wins and only Southern Cal is under .500.
