Earlier This Season there was a photo of the student section, pretty much empty…minutes before the game at UCLA’s newly renovated Pauley Pavillion.  Now that the Bruins are ranked in the Top 25 and coming  off a nine game winning streak fans (and students have returned)  says Carlos Sandoval from Fansided’s GoJoeBruin.com, said yes, students and fans in general have begun to show up to games but most of the emptiness there has to do with winter break and such, although there was dwindling interest against terrible mid-majors in non-conference play.

Shabazz Muhammed has been an impact player for UCLA so far this season averaging eighteen points per game and shooting nearly fifty percent from the three point line . Sandoval says Muhammad has been a huge help but it’s clear that he’s a piece of the puzzle to a team with a lot of individual stand-outs. He’s very necessary to this team’s success, but so is Larry Drew II and a combination of either Kyle Anderson and Jordan Adams.

In order for Oregon to remain perfect in Pac 12 play, they must play better than they did on Thursday vs USC.  Shooting vs the Trojans was poor and that definitely needs to improve for Oregon’s Pac 12 record to remain unblemished.
