Preseason College Baseball Polls – PAC-12 Rankings

The 2013 college baseball polls have started to filter out as the season is less than a month away. Here are the preseason polls and where the PAC-12 teams will begin. Arizona enters the season as the defending national champion, after defeating South Carolina in the College World Series Championship Finals two games to none.

Teams 2012 records follow team names and rankings

Baseball America Top 25 – 6 Oregon State Beavers (40-20), 9 Stanford Cardinal (41-18), 12 UCLA Bruins (48-16), 15 Oregon Ducks (46-19), 24 Arizona Wildcats (48-17)

College Baseball Fabulous 40 – 5 UCLA, 6 Oregon, 9 Stanford Cardinal, 10 Oregon State, 16 Arizona State Sun Devils (36-20), 18 Arizona, receiving votes were Washington Huskies (30-25), Southern California Trojans (23-32), California Golden Bears (29-25) and Washington State Cougars 28-28)

National College Baseball Writers Association Top 35 – 5 UCLA, 7 Stanford, 8 Oregon, 10 Oregon State, 14 Arizona, 22 Arizona State, with Washington receiving votes

Perfect Game Top 25 – 4 Stanford, 6 UCLA, 8 Oregon State, 10 Oregon, 22 Arizona, 25 Arizona State

UCLA tops two polls as the highest ranked PAC-12 team with Oregon State and Stanford on top in the other two. Six teams find their way into three of the four polls with others receiving votes.
