When you look toward the draft later this month, several Oregon players will be headed to the NFL, certainly among them is Former Duck Dion Jordan. This video is pretty impressive as far as showing off his speed and agility on the field.

HUB Video:  ESPN SportsScience: Dion Jordan

The ESPN Sports Science Series does some pretty cool things. It breaks things down even further than his performance during the NFL Combine and shows you numbers that you wouldn’t normally see. His speed when he accelerates is amazing to me. In the video he gets to 16 miles per hour in just three steps…yeah, you read that right….three steps.

Jordan is also ranked throughout the video versus several other athletes that did the ESPN Performance test this year and in some areas he is ranked pretty high. Ultimately we know he will play on Sunday’s somewhere, and we also know from the video that if the opposing Offensive line can’t contain him in about 4 seconds…their Quarterback may need some help getting peeled from the turf.

Several projections have Jordan heading to Philadelphia to join former coach Chip Kelly, another has him headed to Jacksonville. We’ll know for sure in a few weeks. From the looks of it, wherever he lands he will be a playmaker.
