Pac 12 Football: Who is Better…Oregon or Stanford? Let the Debate Begin!
April 13, 2013; Stanford, CA, USA; Stanford Cardinal quarterback Kevin Hogan (8) signals during the Cardinal
Now that we know where things stand in at least one ‘Preseason Top 25’ – Oregon comes in at #3 with the folks at Athlon Sports, Stanford enters at #7. So, who is really the better team and has the best chance to win the Pac 12 North This Season?
I am going to agree with Athlon Sports and say Oregon. They bring up some key points, that the Ducks return most of their personnel. Stanford has some keys on offense to replace, including Tight End Zach Ertz.
You can crunch the numbers all you want and check out what other Athlon Sports Writers have to say, including our own Kyle Kensing from SaturdayBlitz.com
The guys at SaturdayBlitz.com also Rank the Pac 12 Coaches and…no Surprise Stanford’s David Shaw is in the top spot, while Oregon’s Mark Helfrich is….no where to be found in the Top 5. (scratching head) I guess those are the growing pains of being a new head coach.
I’m still taking Oregon in that matchup. We’ll see what happens in November.
