Oregon Football is not too far off and the Watch List season has officially begun and a familiar name makes the Paul Hornung Award list for the second year in a row. It is given to the most versatile player in College football and after watching De’Anthony Thomas the last two years he deserves to be on this list. If you have any questions, see Colorado Kick Return from 2012.
According to the University of Oregon,
"Thomas was one of only two players in the country a year ago to run for over 700 yards, gain more than 400 yards receiving and accumulate over 600 yards in punt and kickoff returns. The Los Angeles junior led the Ducks in receptions (45 for 445 yards), punt returns (222 yards) and kickoff returns (389 yards) last season, tying for 29th in the nation (and fifth in the Pac-12) in all-purpose yards (135.2 avg.).He also finished fourth in the conference with 18 touchdowns."
The Ducks kick off the 2013 season against Nicholls State on Saturday August 31st at Autzen Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1pm Pacific time on Fox Sports 1.
