Week 9 of the upcoming season for the Ducks is one I almost forgot about. A rebounding UCLA team invades Autzen. It will be the first game in Eugene for UCLA Head Coach Jim Mora. Of course the last matchup was in 2011 in the first Pac 12 Championship game.

According to ESPN, the North Division will likely be decided two weeks later down on the Farm in Palo Alto when the Ducks take on Stanford.

Kevin Gemmell sees this as a possible Pac 12 Championship matchup once again. Of course the Pac 12 South is loaded with Stanford, USC(who some think will have a resurgence), UCLA, and of course the Arizona schools. The South likely won’t be decided until the end of the season, and as far as I can see there are no clear frontrunners at this point.

In Week 9, Stanford travels to Oregon State for a date with the Beavers. Here’s hoping that our little brother in the North still has something to play for.
