Jason Quick from the Oregonian is reporting that Freshman Running Back Thomas Tyner left practice this afternoon inside Autzen Stadium on a cart and returned later wearing a protective boot and being aided by a pair of crutches. It if not known of his condition and I highly doubt that Oregon Head Coach Mark Helfrich, like his precesssor, will give much detail on the condition or availability of Tyner. (Oregon does not discuss inju

According to the Oregonian, Tyner is a first-team Parade All-American from Aloha High. He was ranked the No. 2 running back in the nation by SI.com after rushing for an Oregon high school record 3.415 yards as a senior. He is also the Oregon state record holder in the 100 meters (10.43).

In other Oregon Injury News, Steve Mims from the Register Guard is reporting Oregon TE Pharaoh Brown said his cast coming of Friday, plans to practice Monday and play in opener, although likely limited plays.

From what I am reading it’s not all that serious. (Helfrich just told reporters that Tyner was 100 percent and practiced today.)
