He was active on Defense for the first few preseason games then went missing over the last few weeks. Jordan suffered a slight setback with his shoulder, which he injured while playing for the Ducks last season – he had offseason surgery to correct the problem, but it has hampered him during Training Camp. I’m not worried that he has missed several weeks of training camp. The #3 overall pick in the NFL Draft reinjured the shoulder during the Preseason game vs Jacksonville.

According to the Miami Herald, Jordan is not expected to play in the Preseason Finale on Thursday vs New Orleans, but he did say he felt ready to go for the season opener.

"“Anytime I get a chance to go out there and just compete and mix it up, I get a chance to make myself better, it’s a big day. Physically, I felt good. Mainly it’s just little things, brushing up on fundamentals.” –Jordan after Tuesday’s Practice"

Miami Head Coach Joe Philbin declined to talk about who or how many Dolphin starters would play in the Preseaon Finale. With Jordan on the mend the chance he sees the field in the Dolphins Season Opener vs September 8th vs the Cleveland Browns looks promising.
