Oregon Basketball: Sporting News Preseason Top 25 Sets Ducks at #13
We already know who the powerhouse teams will be at the Top of the Poll – Duke, Kansas, Michigan State – but where will the Ducks land? The Sporting News released their Preseason Top 25 and have Oregon Basketball inside the Top 15 at Number 13 and have some glowing things to say about Head Coach Dana Altman’s team:

Arizona will likely be the favorite for the Pac 12 at #5. UCLA with new coach Steve Alford are ranked just behind Oregon at #15. Both the Ducks and the Wildcats have experience returning from last year and both teams will have extra firepower heading into the season with Oregon adding Mike Moser and Arizona adding Aaron Gordon, who could have been a Duck.
The College Basketball season tips off for the Ducks on Friday, November 8th against Georgetown in the Armed Forces Classic from South Korea. (5pm, ESPN)
