The second ranked Oregon Ducks will face the Washington Huskies on Saturday, October 12th at 1pm PT of Fox Sports 1. This is the third announced game for the new FOX network channel. The home opener vs Nicholls and the season finale against Oregon State in the Civil War will also be on Fox Sports 1. Oregon is averaging nearly 60 points per game this season and took care of Cal in their Pac 12 opener  Saturday night in monsoon like conditions at Autzen Stadium.

Oregon may have to face the Buffaloes without dynamic Running Back and playmaker De’Anthony Thomas who injured his right ankle on the first play of the game on a kick return against the Golden Bears.  After the game he said he rolled it, he was no longer on crutches as he was on the sideline in the second half. No word yet on his availability. From the way the game went, and the Ducks ‘Next Man Up’ mentality, the surrounding cast took care of now 1-3 California, helped by four of five fumble recoveries, mostly in the first 8 minutes of the game. Wideout Bralon Addison had two 70+ yard punt returns for touchdowns. It was also good to see Freshman Running Back Thomas Tyner get some reps in the game, albeit in front of a smaller crowd as most fans headed for the exits at halftime because of the weather and a big lead. Oregon won 55-16.

The second ranked Oregon Ducks will hit the road over the next few weeks, up first Colorado on Saturday (in a hopefully sunny) Boulder(3pm PT, Pac 12 Networks)
