The Oregon Ducks and Washington Huskies kickoff their State Rivalry this afternoon and Washington Quarterback Keith Price could become a folk hero in Husky Nation becoming the first man to beat the Ducks(Not that they haven’t really tried in the past.) It has been a very long time since Oregon has lost to its Pac 12 foe from the North. The last time it happened was in 2001.
We’ll see what happens today. Remember there are a lot of things I am watching in this game, including what happens on 3rd Down and how poised Price is from the start. Both are among many keys to this game. A Big Factor could be the return of Oregon Running Back De’Anthony Thomas. A report that came out late yesterday said he is ready to go against the Huskies and will see the field for the first time since injuring his ankle on the opening kickoff vs Cal a few weeks ago.
