56,481 Oregon fans packed Autzen Stadium for the game vs Utah making it the 95th consecutive sellout. Oregon did not seem like it’s usual self on Offense from the start having only 10 yards rushing for the entire first half. Oregon on the ground was held under their usual running average with De’Anthony Thomas,  Byron Marshall and Thomas Tyner unable to break through with the ground game. Through the air the Ducks had a little more luck. Oregon Quarterback Marcus Mariota had two passing scores through the air in the first half which gave them a 17-7 lead at halftime.

Utah kept it interesting with backup quarterback Adam Schulz running for a score to start the third quarter bringing the Utes to within three points. The momentum would not last long as Oregon Running Back De’Anthony Thomas took a punt return to the endzone for a score. It was his second of the game tying him with Derek Loville for third all time at Oregon.

The Ducks Defense clamped down on Utah and Schulz in the 2nd half putting a stop to the scoring in the third quarter and adding a Mariota to Johnny Mundt pass for 6 and a Byron Marshall 17 yard run for a score making it 37-14 Oregon.  After an Oregon Defensive stop the Ducks added another score by Marshall giving the Ducks a 44-14 lead.

Oregon hits the road next week to take on Arizona in the Desert. Gametime and Network  are yet to be announced.
