Oregon’s Season has not gone to plan. The Ducks now have two conference losses and will not play in a BCS Bowl. They won’t play in the Pac 12 Championship either. However they will play in the Civil War. This is a winnable game for Oregon, but my question is how angry are they about those two road losses? Will this team regroup and demolish the Beavers on Friday evening? or will Mannion and Company put on a show of their own and take the title of Best in the State? I see Oregon getting back on track in this game.

Marcus Mariota Will Be Responsible For Four Scores

This seems pretty easy to predict. Whether it’s on the ground or through the air. He showed he could be mobile in the Arizona game. I look for any combination of scores for the Oregon QB. Health right now is still a concern as far as I can see. He will be effective against the Beavers, but the more dangerous weapon of late is Mariota’s arm. I’m not sure he will have a 300+ passing yard day, but if he does he could get himself back into the Heisman race- or at least get an invite to New York.

De’Anthony Thomas Will Rush For Over 200 Yards

He had done it several times this year and will end the regular season on a high note. Of course no one knows what the future will bring. Will Thomas be around for 2014 or will he play on Sundays? The same can be said for Mariota. There is a good chance that DAT will be the Starting Running Back on Friday.

Oregon State’s Sean Mannion Passes for 200 Yards

He has led the Pac 12 for the entire season through the air. He is the top passer in the nation with 4089 yards on the year. Look for Mannion and Wide Receiver Brandon Cooks to be involved early. The duo shold keep the Oregon Defense busy for a good part of the game. Of course there is Running Back Storm Woods to focus on as well. Depending on what Oregon team shows up this could be a good game or over by halftime.

From what I am hearing there will be representatives from several bowls in attendance for the Civil War. Oregon needs to put on a good show. Several Ducks will also be putting on their final show in an Oregon uniform on Friday evening.
