Oregon Basketball Comes Back to Beat Pacific 85-62, Face North Dakota Saturday

A few days removed from a 2 year contract extension Oregon Basketball Coach Dana Altman and his team started the Global Sports Hardwood Challege with a win. Both teams entered the game with undefeated records and the Ducks performance in the first half had them down to the Tigers 36-29. Oregon came back in the second half. Freshman Mike Moser had 19 points and 4 rebounds for the Ducks to go along with an assist and a steal. Defensive rebounding was a total team effort with Moser leading the way. Transfer Joseph Young added 14 points and was 2-2-2 on Free Throws and Sophomore Damyean Dotson added 13. Oregon’s bench also made their presence felt.

Jason Calliste had 15 points and was 10-12 from the free throw line. Senior Johnathan Loyd was not much of a presence in the scoring column against the Tigers, but he did finish the day with 12 assists and was 2-2 on free throws.

Pacific was led by two players who each tallied 14 points with Trevin Harris and T.J. Wallace.

Oregon will play back to back games on consecutive days for the first time this season when the take on North Dakota tomorrow afternoon at 3:30. The game will be televised on the Pac 12 Networks.
