It is clear that Arizona Wildcats Running Back Ka’Deem Carey made an impression last weekend in knocking off the Oregon Ducks. Carey was named Offensive Player of the Year on Monday by the Pac-12 Conference. The Junior from Tucson rushed for 1716 yards and 18 touchdowns this season. Oregon Quarterback Marcus Mariota will likely see his Heisman push come to an end even with Oregon’s Comeback victory to win the Civil War on Friday 36-35. The Oregon Quarterback did make another list on Monday.

Mariota was named to the First Team offense, along with Center Hroniss Grasu. The Ducks also had a player named to the First Team on Defense in Junior Ifo Ekpre Olomu. The Second Team Defense included Oregon Defensive Lineman Senior Taylor Hart. The player of the year on Defense was a no brainer.

Arizona State’s Will Sutton took home the honor. The Sun Devils will host Stanford this weekend in the Pac-12 Championship Game. The winner goes to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on January 1st 2015.
