Coming off a victory over Morgan State on Sunday afternoon the Oregon Men’s Basketball team will find itself ranked in the Top 10 in this week’s Associated Press poll. The Ducks will begin one of the harder stretches of the conference schedule going on the road to face a hot Utah team on Thursday and a Colorado team that always seems to have Oregon’s number on Sunday. Although Oregon took away a victory against the Bears Head Coach Dana Altman is not pleased with the Defensive effort of his team, which was one of the main points he made during the postgame press conference.
There are also two players in Ben Carter and Dominic Artis who are not quite up to speed as they were suspended for the first nine games of the season. Altman said this would take some time, and unfortunately for the team the non conference part of their schedule is now complete, which will mean the ‘time’ will have to be in Pac 12 games and of course in practice.
Oregon Basketball joins Oregon Football with the same ranking in the Associated Press poll entering the week. Duck Football is ranked 10th in the AP poll. Duck football faces Texas in the Valero Alamo Bowl on Monday afternoon(3:45pm PT, ESPN)
Oregon plays the next five of six away from Matthew Knight Arena and it starts with a trip to Salt Lake City and Boulder, Colorado later this week.
