There was really no surprise on Monday when the Associated Press Top 25 Poll was released. The Arizona Wildcats are the best team in the country. The Nations #1 team is off to the best start in their history at 17-0. Oregon did make the list as ‘Others Receiving Votes’ and would be 27th this week following their three game skid losing thee games in Pac-12 play to Colorado, Cal and yesterday’s 82-80 loss to Stanford.

The Ducks have a trip to Corvallis on Sunday and have a week to prepare for the game. Oregon Head Coach Dana Altman spoke yesterday and said that Oregon’s Defense needs some help, which he and the media have known for several weeks now after a 13-0 start to the season.

Other Pac-12 teams in this week’s poll include Colorado(14-3) and newcomber UCLA(13-3) at #25. The Ducks face the Bruins on January 30th at Matthew Knight Arena. Following their game on Sunday with the Beavers, the team hits the road to go North for two games against Washington and Washington State.
