The Oregon Basketball team(20-8, 8-8 Pac-12) is currently riding a five game winning streak and look to make it six tonight in a big matchup against Arizona State(21-8, 10-6 Pac-12). This week Oregon Senior Forward Mike Moser continued to find his game with 32 points and 32 rebounds combined the last two games. His effort garnered Pac-12 Conference and Athlon Sports Player of the Week Honors. The Ducks now have the chance to pretty much put themselves into the NCAA Tournament with two wins to finish off the regular season vs the Sundevils and Saturday afternoon against Arizona Wildcats, but first things first.

Arizona State can play defense and can block, roughly 5.9 times per game. As one of the better defensive teams in the Pac-12 this season it is important for the Ducks to get off to a solid start, unlike last week’s start against Washington State. The Sundevils won’t make the mistakes the Cougars did in the second half. If Altman’s team can land their three point shots, as they have the last ten games(Oregon has hit 44 of them) as well as continue their success from the free throw line(77 percent) it should put them in a good position. The Ducks cannot get caught looking ahead and through the year they have spoken about one game at a time so I’m sure that is on their mind heading into the game.

The Sun Devils and Oregon tip off just after 8pm PT from Matthew Knight Arena. Our coverage will start at 7 on our Twitter account @Autzen_Zoo and on @KPNWSports.
