Oregon Head Coach Paul Westhead will continue his coaching career in the WNIT on Thursday and could have the opportunity to add a few more victories as the Ducks coach. It was announced late on Monday that Oregon had accepted a bid to the Women’s National Invitational Tournament. I was hopeful that they would have the opportunity to continue playing this season, but the WNIT road will not be an easy one.

First up is Pacific, from the Big West Conference. They finished third in the conference with a 12-6 record and are 18-12 on the season. The Tigers are led on the floor by Senior Guard Kiki Moore and her 16.5 points per game. Pacific Guard Kendall Kenyon is averaging 15.9 points per game to go along with leading the team in rebounding with an average of 10 per contest this season. The Ducks are 3-0 against Pacific and won in their last meeting back in 2008.

Winner of the first round game will face Hawaii or Washington in the Second Round. Round 1 tips off Thursday at 7pm PT at Matthew Knight Arena. The game will not be televised, but will be available on the Pac-12 Live Stream.
