The Oregon Football team could find themselves closer to the top of the Recruitment lists later today with one commitment. 5-star dual threat Quarterback Kyler Murray will announce around 12:45pm PT his intent to play for one of two schools. Oregon and Texas A&M are the two remaining schools on his list. The highly touted recruit from the Class of 2015 is ranked the top dual threat signal caller in the nation according to 247Sports. He visited Eugene back on April 18th and saw the campus of Texas A&M on February 28th, and visited during Junior Day on January 26th.
The five star talent threw for close to fifty seven hundred yards and sixty three touchdowns over the last two seasons, his junior and sophomore years respectively. He also used his feet for close to twenty seven hundred yards and another forty four touchdowns. At the moment it appears that the Oregon Ducks are at a disadvantage for his services.
Murray is the son of former Texas A&M Quarterback Kevin Murray. Of course the Aggies would love to have the bloodline. 247Sports Crystal Ball Predictions sees a Texas A&M victory by the tally of eighty seven percent to thirteen percent. However the decision is his to make and the Oregon Ducks could have a very bright future with Murray in the mix. We can certainly hope that his most recent visit is the one he remembers most and his time with Oregon was enough to sway his decision.
We will find out early this afternoon. Murray will likely let the world know via his Twitter account. Remember, no contact with Murray so if you click the link, watch only.
