The College World Series began this past weekend and missing from Omaha were any PAC-12 schools, especially given the conference had won back-to-back national championships. They started with five schools trying to reach the final eight before coming up short.

Regional’s –

Oregon State: Was the only PAC-12 school hosting and were the number one overall seed but fell to UC Irvine which did make it the CWS.
Arizona State: Surprisingly went 0-2 in the San Luis Obispo regional losing to Pepperdine and Sacramento State.
Oregon: Lost twice to Vanderbilt in Nashville to end their season
Stanford: Made the most dramatic play of the weekend needing a walk-off homer to defeat host Indiana in moving to the Super Regional.
Washington: Fell twice in Oxford against host Ole Miss

Super Regional –

Stanford: Traveled to Vanderbilt for the Super Regional, lost game one 11-6 before winning 5-4 and then losing game three 12-5.

Disappointing finish to what was another solid season on the diamond for the PAC-12 conference.
