Oregon Football Recruiting: Ducks Offer 4-Star Quarterback Travis Waller
The Oregon Ducks are looking toward the future and after losing out on recruit Blake Barnett, who committed to Alabama last week, Mark Helfrich and company made a move looking ahead. Travis Waller, a four star quarterback from Anaheim, California has an offer to play for the Oregon Ducks and could be the successor for current Quarterback Marcus Mariota. It was a busy weekend for the Oregon football team as they also received commitments from three Offensive lineman for the 2015 Recruiting class.
Waller brings impressive size at the position being six foot three and one-hundred ninety pounds. According to 247sports,Travis Waller is a dual threat quarterback, similar to Mariota. He is considered the eleventh best athlete out of California and the fourth best dual threat QB in the country. A quarterback in the next recruiting class is important for the Oregon Ducks as Junior Marcus Mariota will likely forgo his Senior season, following the 2014 season to leave for the NFL.
