Class of 2015: 4-Star Quarterback Travis Waller Commits to Oregon Ducks
Last week the Oregon Ducks received some great recruiting news when 4-star Wide Receiver Alex Ofodile. Now 4-star Quarterback Travis Waller has also committed to play for the Oregon Ducks. Waller is the 10th Commitment for what is quickly becoming an impressive class for Mark Helfrich and Company. Considering that current Oregon Quarterback Marcus Mariota will likely finish out his Junior year with the Oregon Ducks and turn pro, Waller can come come in and make an immediate impact and perhaps fight for playing time his Freshman season.

Not only can Waller throw, but he can run as well. The six foot three, one hundred ninety pound is a 4-star athlete according to 247Sports who also have him pegged as the fourth best dual quarterback in the nation. Waller’s Highlight Video from his Junior year reminds me a lot of Dennis Dixon. He shows the speed that Oregon looks for and is an accurate passer, at times throwing bullets so that only his receivers can catch the ball.
Ofodile and Waller should prove to be the next set of Quarterback/Wide Receiver combos for the Oregon Ducks and I personally will look forward to watching those highlights. Waller had offers from Northwestern, Alabama, and Arizona to name a few and chose to play for the Oregon Ducks.
The 2014 Oregon Ducks kick off the regular season on Saturday, August 30th hosting South Dakota. (7:30pm PT, Pac-12 Networks)
