#TheOpening: Oregon Commit Running Back Taj Griffin Set to Shine
On Monday over one-hundred and sixty high school athletes from around the country will descend on the Nike Campus in Beaverton for what has become an annual tradition. The Opening is set to begin on July 7th and run through July 10th and is a clinic for high schoolers to receive feedback from current and former NFL players and to also participate on the field with and against each other in drills designed to help them in their respective college careers. Many of these athletes have already committed to play somewhere such as the case with Oregon Commit Taj Griffin who will be the main talent on hand for Oregon Ducks fans to keep an eye on during the event.
A quick look at Taj Griffin coming in. He is a good size at five foot ten and one-hundred seventy five pounds. This four star talent will look to show off his on field talent and speed next week. Griffin had offers from several other schools but chose the Oregon Ducks. He has likely put on some weight and Oregon fans will get a first look at him this weekend before coming to the University of Oregon campus for the 2015 season.One-hundred and sixty two athletes will compete and learn over the four day, invitation only event.
