He was drafted last year by the Washington Wizards and traded to the Philadelphia 76ers, who sent him overseas to work on his game. Last night former Oregon Ducks Defensive Specialist Arsalan Kazemi made his 2014 debut in the NBA Summer League in Orlando and  had some rust to shake off on the night helping the Sixers take care of business against the Houston Rockets 92-71. In his year with the Oregon Ducks, Kazemi was  rebounding machine, but the NBA takes that to a whole other level.

In his first game action of the year in the US, Kazemi played seven minutes committing two fouls and pulling down one offensive rebound. Overseas he has been playing an Iranian team and will leave Orlando to play for the Iranian National Team to play for the FIBA Asia Cup in China from July 11th through July 19th. Last season playing for Iran, Kazemi was productive averaging twelve and a half  points and eleven rebounds per game.

We will follow Kazemi and the Iranian National Team here at AutzenZoo starting on July 11th through the final game on the 19th. The Iranian National team will face Japan on the 11th.According to the Tehran Times, Iran has been drawn with host Spain, Serbia, France, Brazil and Egypt in Pool A.
