The Oregon Women’s Volleyball team is off to an impressive 6-0 start this season and have had quite the non-conference schedule to contend with. So far their record remains unblemished and the team returns to Matthew Knight Arena this weekend to face a pair of Big Ten teams in Michigan and Michigan State.

Twenty Third ranked Michigan State enters the game on Friday night with a 4-2 record on the season after losing to North Carolina and Duke this past weekend. The Spartans advanced to the Sweet Sixteen in last season’s NCAA Tournament and are a good early challenge for the Oregon Ducks on their home floor. The Ducks also will face the other team from the Big Ten in the state of Michigan on Saturday.

The Wolverines are 3-2 on the year so far and the series between the Oregon Ducks and Michigan is tied at 1-1 following last years game back east. Last weekend the Oregon Ducks pulled off an upset of Hawaii on their home floor to enter this week at 18th in the latest AVCA poll. The Ducks look to continue climbing the rankings early this season and are among seven Pac-12 teams currently ranked.

Oregon and Michigan State faceoff on Friday night at 7:30pm Pacific Time on Pac-12 Networks, and Michigan on Saturday at 7:30pm Pacific Time. (Saturday’s game is not televised)
