LaMichael James Finds a New Home With Miami Dolphins
Last month former Oregon Ducks Running Back LaMichael James was granted his release from the San Francisco 49ers. This season has not been kind to James, who had a chance in the preseason to make a move up the depth chart with injuries at the running back position, but he suffered an injury during camp and was kept out allowing Carlos Hyde to step into the spotlight and shine leaving James no where to go, so he requested his release from San Franciso, which was granted.

On Tuesday it was announced that James found a new home in Miami as he signed with the Miami Dolphins.
In San Francisco James had forty-one rushes for just under one-hundred eighty four yards in three season with the 49ers. He came out of the University of Oregon with a huge upside after rushing for seven-hundred yards and fifty three touchdowns over his three seasons with the Oregon Ducks. James will still have work ahead of him to make the fifty-three man roster for Miami, but signing is a start.
James adds depth to the running back position in Miami as Knowshon Moreno will be out several weeks with a dislocated elbow. He has the opportunity for a new start with the Dolphins, if he stays healthy and he could see the field for his new team with Moreno out..
Miami has a bye week and James will likely use the timeoff to get up to speed.
