New Orleans at 1-3 on the season has not lived up to expectations and entering the game hosting this weekend with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers the team has one takeaway this season. One. They rank last in the NFL in the category and now must lean on some unproven talent the rest of the season. Jairus Byrd had six seasons of NFL experienec, including this season and now the team must rely on three players with a combined five years of experience in Rafael Bush, Marcus Bell and Rookie Vinnie Sunseri out of Alabama.
Last weekend the Defense did not help in the effort against the Dallas Cowboys who won in somewhat blowout fashion 38-17 in Dallas. Following the game against the Buccaneers, New Orleans has a bye week before a trip to Detroit to take on the Lions. The Saints then return home to host the Green Bay Packers the following Sunday night, October 11th.
Tampa Bay visits New Orleans on Sunday at 1pm Eastern time, 10am Pacific. The game is on FOX.
