Former Oregon Ducks Defensive End Dion Jordan returns to action in the National Football League this week following a six week suspension for violating the League’s Substance Abuse Policy. He will be joining a Miami Dolphins team this week that is fourth in the league in total yards allowed, according to NFL.com.

The return of Dion Jordan should help with filling a hole on the Defense that the team hopes will provide some added push as the team looks to make a playoff push this season. Miami used a solid defensive effort last weekend to defeat the Chicago Bears 27-14. The Dolphins are 3-3 on the season and will visit the Jacksonville Jaguars this weekend.

Dion Jordan was the number three pick in the 2013 NFL Draft and struggled in the Miami Dolphins Defensive scheme last season. He was also dealing with an injury before the season began with a torn labrum. Johnson will not count against the fifty-three man roster until next week. He will need to be activated by next Monday, but could see some time this weekend at Jacksonville against the Jaguars.

The Battle of Florida in the NFL is Sunday with Miami visiting Jacksonville at 10am Pacific Time on CBS.
