Oregon Ducks Basketball Picked to Finish Ninth By Media
Following the issues that the Oregon Men’s Basketball team has endured this year and the losses the team has had the Pac-12 Media know the talent level of the team is not quite what it was and pegged Oregon ninth in the media poll for the 2014-15 season. If it is any consolation the Oregon State Beavers were picked last in the Conference. Leading the charge for the 2014 season will be Joseph Young, who returns to the Oregon Ducks.
Rather than have known pieces around him are many newcombers. Coach Dana Altman has been known for taking and finding talent to create teams that perform well together and win games. He will be doing just that again this season. Other teams in the poll are clearly in the proper places. Arizona is ranked first, followed by Utah and Colorado. UCLA enters the poll in fourth place. The expectations in Eugene are high.
The last two seasons the Oregon Ducks made the NCAA Tournament. Of course with all the changes getting there again will be difficult, but possible. Anything less would likely be a disappointment, but it would be an understandable one. The Oregon Ducks start the 2014 season on Friday, November 14th hosting Coppin State at 9pm Pacific Time on Pac-12 Networks.
