De’Anthony Thomas Plays a Role in Chiefs Win Over St. Louis Rams
Former Oregon Ducks Running Back De’Anthony Thomas continued to show his versatility on the field on Sunday in the Kansas City Chiefs victory over the St. Louis Rams. Thomas had plays on both the offense and special teams. In the win he had four punt returns for twenty-seven yards. Thomas lost the battle on rushing yards, which went to Starter Jamaal Charles who had thirteen rushes for seventeen yards and two touchdowns. He did better on the receiving end.

On the day Thomas had three receptions for seventeen yards and he was targeted four times. The Kansas City Chiefs are now 4-3 on the season and 2-1 at home. The Chiefs are ranked third in the NFL in rushing yards with just over one-hundred and forty per game. Next week DAT and the Chiefs host the New York Jets who were humiliated at home against the Buffalo Bills 43-23. New York enters the game next weekend just behind KC in rushing, coming in at fourth in the National Football League with an average of one-hundred and forty yards per game.
