PAC-12 Football Weekend Recap Week 12

Arizona State a week after getting a big victory they undid all the goodwill by losing at Oregon State. The PAC-12 south is now a four team race with Utah not far behind.

Here are all the results from this weekend of PAC-12 conference play.
Thursday, November 13 –
California Golden Bears (5-5, 3-5 PAC-12) 30 @ Southern California Trojans (7-3, 6-2 PAC-12) 38: California made this game look more respectable than it did at half when USC led 31-9. Cal’s defense did improve but they hurt themselves by going 3-for-15 on third down. Cody Kessler threw for 371 yards with four TD’s, Nelson Aqholor had 216 with two touchdowns. Jared Goff had a solid day in defeat, with a 279 evening. California hosts Stanford (5-5, 3-4 PAC-12) at 1 pm/FOX Sports 1. No. 19 Southern California travels to No. 9 UCLA (8-2, 5-2 PAC-12) at 5 pm/ABC.
Saturday, November 15 –
23 Utah Utes (7-3, 4-3 PAC-12) 20 @ Stanford Cardinal (5-5, 3-4 PAC-12) 17 F/2OT: This game went to overtime tied at seven before fans saw 23 points in two OT’s. Travis Wilson ended the game by hitting Kenneth Scott for three yards to get the road victory. Both teams were under 300 yards of total offense in this game. Defense reigned supreme out on the farm as the Utes kept their slim PAC-12 south division title hope alive, Stanford still needs a win to be bowl eligible. No. 17 Utah hosts No. 15 Arizona (8-2, 5-2 PAC-12) at 12:30 pm/ESPN. Stanford travels to this years Big Game versus Cal (5-5, 3-5 PAC-12) at 1 pm/FOX Sports 1.
Washington Huskies (6-5, 2-5 PAC-12) 26 @ 14 Arizona Wildcats (8-2, 5-2 PAC-12) 27: Washington left a five point fourth quarter slip away as Arizona kicked two field goals. Casey Skowron made a 35 and game winning 47 yarder as time expired to get the Wildcats another win. The Huskies hurt themselves with 14 penalties for 111 yards while the home team had two for 14. Washington returns home for Oregon State (5-5, 2-5 PAC-12) at 7:30 pm/PAC-12 Network. No. 14 Arizona will be in Salt Lake City taking on Utah (7-3, 4-3 PAC-12) at 12:30 pm/ESPN.
6 Arizona State Sun Devils (8-2, 5-2 PAC-12) 27 @ Oregon State Beavers (5-5, 2-5 PAC-12) 35: ASU built a 24-14 lead at half but could only get three second half points. Oregon State outscored Arizona State 21-3 in the second half to get the upset. Terron Ward and Storm Woods each rushed for over 100 yards with 148 and 125 respectively. No. 13 Arizona State is back home hosting Washington State (3-7, 2-5 PAC-12) 10 am/PAC-12 Network. Oregon State will head north to Seattle against Washington (6-5, 2-5 PAC-12).
