Which bowl did Mark Helfrich and his Ducks receive after winning the Pac-12 Championship at Levi Stadium?
Here are all the results from this weekend of PAC-12 conference play.
PAC-12 Title Game (Levi Stadium/Santa, Clara, CA) Friday, December 5 –
7 Arizona Wildcats (10-3, 7-2 PAC-12) 13 v. 2 Oregon Ducks (12-1, 8-1) 51: Oregon controlled the first half but couldn’t get their offense going through miscues. Despite that they took a 23-0 lead to half in Santa Clara never looking back. Arizona’s offense was befuddled all evening by the Ducks defense that was swarming to the ball in this highly anticipated rematch at Levi Stadium. Marcus Mariota was sensational passing for 313 yards completing 25-of-38 passes for two scores. He also picked up three more scores plus 33 more via the ground. Royce Freeman carried 21 times for 114 yards as Oregon as a team rushed for 301. The Wildcats had 224 yards as a team on offense most coming in the second half. Mariota earned game MVP honors as the Ducks earned a spot in the inaugural College Football Playoff. Next for Arizona is the Vizio Fiesta Bowl on December 31 against No. 20 Boise State (11-2) at 1 pm/ESPN. Oregon will face Florida State (13-0) on New Year’s Day in the Rose Bowl in one semifinal at 2 pm/ESPN.
