Pac-12 Football Preview: College Football Playoff National Championship

As has been burned into our heads all season, the winner on Monday night will be remember for centuries. In all seriousness this PAC-12 versus Big Ten match-up for the National Championship with two up-tempo teams should be a lot of fun.

  • Oregon getting out to an early lead no doubt raises their chances to win the programs first national championship in football.
  • Containing Cardale Jones, against Alabama the Buckeyes third string quarterback threw for 243 yards and rushed for 43 more in his second start.
  • Marcus Mariota continues his steady play, despite throwing an interception the play of Mariota was key to beating Florida State. He threw for 338 yards on 26-of-36 passing while adding a touchdown plus 62 more yards rushing.
