The Oregon Ducks started the second half of the Pac-12 season showing some fight and picking up two wins over the UCLA Bruins and USC Trojans. On Monday night Jillian Alleyne had her second solid night in a row scoring eighteen points to go with thirteen rebounds in the first sweep of Los Angeles area schools in seven years.
The win brings the Oregon Ducks one win away from evening their season record which now stands at 10-11. It was Alleyne’s sixtieth double-double of her career. Katelyn Loper added twelve points and hit all of her free throws where overall Oregon was an impressive nineteen of twenty-three from the free throw line.

The Trojans, similiar to USC had a slim lead at halftime at 25-23, and for the second game in a row Oregon came back to win the game. The Oregon Ducks went on a fifteen to two run and were able to force three straight turnovers en route to a 63-57 win. Defensively the team stood out during the brief homestand.
It shows that new Head Coach Kelly Graves is beginning to be able to show what he wants to do with this team Defensively. His process compared to his predecessor is starting to take. We all know that anytime there is something new it takes time to come together. In coming back to win two games in a row it is starting to come through.
Can Oregon take the two game win streak on the road and make it three games? The Ducks now head to Washington State for a Friday night tipoff at 5pm Pacific Time on Pac-12 Networks.
