Devon Blackmon: Oregon Ducks National Signing Day Reviewing 2011
Devon Blackmon was highly touted as a recruit. Oregon believed he would fit a real need at the time as Oregon’s receivers were fantastic at blocking but struggled to separate on their own against Pac-12 defenses. Blackmon was tall, fast and really the prototypical receiver. But he never caught on with Oregon and with Addison among others developing he seemed to be the odd man out. Three games into the Ducks 2012 season Blackmon met with Kelly and informed him that he would transfer.
