Oregon Ducks Defeat New Mexico State With 22 Runs
In looking at the final score of the game you may think that the Oregon Ducks decided to switch it up for their game against New Mexico State on Saturday for football over Baseball as the team won 22-7 over the Aggies thanks in part to six New Mexico State errors and an explosion of seventeen hit for George Horton’s team.

Oregon Leadoff Hitter Matt Euriste helped the Ducks get off to a fast start after Starter Trent Paddon hit the first three batters of the game and walked the fourth. He did settle down after allowing two runs to score for the opposition, but the story of this game was the Oregon Offense. With the game pretty much decided, Horton turned to his bench players who were equally able as his starters to do damage against New Mexico State pitching.
Kyle Kasser and Daniel Patzlaff two hits and three runs scored between them. The Aggies are now 0-7 on the season and Oregon is building momentum after going 3-1 on the road at Hawaii last week. Oregon can get the four game sweep of New Mexico State today at Noon at PK Park.
Oregon pushed twenty runs across the plate last season against Ohio State. The performance ranks second all time in the Ducks Record Books going back to a game in 1974 and a 23-1 win over Portland State.
