The Oregon Ducks 2015 season has come to an end and once again Head Coach Dana Altman has taken a team to the NCAA Tournament. It was the third year in a row and the second time facing the Wisconsin Badgers with a Sweet 16 bid on the line. Oregon would lose the game after a valiant effort on Defense, one of the best of the season, and opportunities not going their way on Offense down the stretch.

Senior Joseph Young had a solid night with thirty points, but the Oregon Ducks could not land shots when they needed them most, starting the game five for seventeen from the field. Young his twelve of twenty five shots including four free throws, but Wisconsin hit all of their free throws down the stretch to seal the Sweet 16 berth, 72-65.

The Ducks had their opportunities, and at times were able to run their game at their pace against the Badgers, who had the third slowest offense in the Tournament. On Defense Oregon stepped up big time.

Jordan Bell had four blocked shots and eight in the NCAA Tournament, most for an Oregon Duck. He finished the season with eighty-eight blocks which puts him firmly in second place on the all-time list at the University of Oregon.

Oregon finishes the season at 26-10 and 13-5 in the Pac-12 Conference. Altman and the Ducks fought through a ton of adversity this season adn ended the year on a high note, winning thirteen of their last sixteen games. The Ducks averaged seventy-five points per gamet this season compared to their opponents seventy.

Young finished the season with over a ninety-one percent success rate on free throws, which sets a new mark from the charity stripe. The success of this team will make the 2016 team better. Players will be hungry to get back to the NCAA Tournament and now Oregon has not just two players with post season experience, but a team. It will go a long way in telling the story of Oregon for several years to come.
