The second ranked Oregon Ducks Women’s Softball team is there for a reason. In part because of the play from Starting Pticher Cheridan Hawkins. To start the Pac-12 season last weekend against Oregon State, Hawkins threw-a no hitter and a two hitter earning wins in all three games against the Beavers. This marks the second time this season that Hawkins has been named the Pitcher of the Week for the Pac-12 Conference.

This past weekend she continued her dominance against Utah throwing two complete games in wins for the Oregon Ducks. On Monday, she lost a no-hitter in the sixth inning, but went on for the win. She has yet to give up a run in Pac-12 play this season. Hawkins has been impressive this season and her earned run average is even more so at 0.32.

Oregon is on a ten game winning streak and have swept their first two Pac-12 opponents on the season in Oregon State and Utah, They will look to continue that with a double header on Wednesday against non-conference opponent Utah Valley at 4pm and 6pm respectively. The Ducks will then host Washington in Pac-12 play this weekend in a three game series on Friday at 3pm, Saturday at 2pm, and Sunday at 2pm.
