The Oregon Ducks begin a three game series at home against Oregon State this weekend and will look for a fresh start following a fifteen hit win on Tuesday against Portland and win 11-3. The Ducks also had no errors in the game. Errors and men left on base have been the story line of the season for George Horton and the team in 2015. March was a disaster as Oregon won just seven of seventeen games. The Ducks have lost thirteen of their last nineteen games including being swept last weekend at home against Michigan State.

Cole Irvin will take the mound on Friday and look to begin the first winning streak for the Ducks in quite a while with a win. The Ducks will face Andrew Moore from Oregon State who is 3-1 on the season and the game will be key for Irvin who is coming off Tommy John Surgery from last season. This is a game he has worked towards all season and a good performance from Irvin will go a long way for the rest of this season.

The Oregon Offense will also need a good start this weekend and will work to continue the hitting barrage from Tuesday against Portland. Oregon and Oregon State start their Civil War Series on Friday(7:30pm PT, ESPNU), Game 2 is set for Saturday(7:30pm PT, Pac-12 Network), and Sunday at Noon(Pac-12 Network)
