After losing Game 1 yesterday, the Ducks had seventeen hits on Saturday in a 15-4 win over the Trojans. Oregon’s hit parade started in the second inning as Horton saw his team put up seven runs which gave nothing but confidence to Freshman Starter David Peterson who went six and a third innings and gave up three runs on eight hits. Mitchell Tolman led Oregon on Offense.
Tolman went 2-4 with two runs and an RBI in the win and he had a little help from his friends. Brandon Cuddy drove in the first two runs in the eighth inning to pretty much guarantee a W for the Oregon Ducks. With a win on Sunday, Oregon will win their second series this season against a ranked team.
Connor Harber takes the mound for Oregon in the final games of the series on Sunday at 1pm Pacific Time.
