Oregon Basketball Recruiting: Forward Chris Boucher Commits to Oregon
Oregon Head Coach Dana Altman over the last few years has become known for adding transfers. One example of success was Arsalan Kazemi, who is looking to make an NBA Roster with the Philadelphia 76ers next season. More recently there was Joseph Young and he now adds Chris Boucher, a six foot ten Forward from Northwest College according to Andrew Nemec with the Oregonian. Boucher was also the NJCAA National Player of the Year.

Boucher averaged over twenty-two points per game last season with Wyoming. He also had over twelve rebounds and close to five blocks per game. He comes to Oregon with plenty of tools to play with and Duck fans should be excited for the upcoming season. Boucher could become a fan favorite in Eugene and along with an already solid returning class will look to play his part in in helping Oregon get back to the NCAA Tournament.
He joins a very talented roster that already includes Jordan Bell, Elgin Cook, Dillon Brooks, Dwayne Benjamin and another incoming transfer in Dylan Ennis from Villanova. Ennis and Boucher mark the twentieth and twenty-first players to transfer into the Oregon program.
The Oregon Ducks will start the 2015 season on Pearl Harbor Day, December 7th playing in Hawaii against Navy. The game will be broadcast by Fox Sports.
