Class of 2016: Oregon Ducks Offer Three Star Defensive End Andrew Fitzgerald
The Oregon Ducks Class of 2016 is taking shape. primarily on Offense. The team earlier today offered Defensive End Andrew Fitzgerald from Flower Mound, Texas. If he commits he would be the Ducks fourth official player on Defense for the upcoming recruiting class.

Fitzgerald comes in at six foot five, two-hundred forty pounds and Oregon will have some competition from in state rival Oregon State, who offered him on April 30th.
The three-star Defensive End also has interest from Iowa, Northwestern, Oklahoma, Texas and Texas A&M to name a few. The Ducks and Beavers are the only Pac-12 teams who have currently offered Fitzgerald, according to 247Sports. The Cal Bears may also be in the mix.
If Fitzgerald joins the Ducks he would be the second Defensive End recruit along with Hunter Kampmoyer. The Ducks have Cornerback Troy Warner, Safety Brady Breeze and four-star athlete Seth Green. Fitzgerald could become the ninth commitment for the Class of 2016.
247Sports ranks Fitzgerald the 29th best player by his position and the sixty-eighth best player in the State of Texas.
