#NBADraft: Joseph Young Could Have An Immediate Impact At The Next Level
NBA Draft Day has finally arrived and for Oregon fans there is a lot to be excited about. One player in particular could have an immediate impact on the court at the Professional level and all eyes will be on Joseph Young entering the Draft tonight.
Young spent two seasons at Oregon and set new records as well as leading the team to the NCAA Tournament in his two seasons in Eugene. He scored over thirteen hundred points in two years in an Oregon uniform with more than a few games scoring twenty points or more.
Oregon already has several former players in the NBA Pipeline including Arsalan Kazemi, who has played part of the last few years overseas and is looking to make the roster for the Philadelphia 76ers in 2016, but Young has the intangibles to be on a team right from the start of his career.
NBA.com has Young going in the second round in their latest Mock Draft to the Utah Jazz. Young is a competitor and a vocal leader on the court. Regardless of where he plays, he will have an immediate impact for his team, if he is given the chance.
"Young could become a dependable reserve combo guard, especially if paired with a bigger guard who can handle the shooting guard on defense. Offensively, Young has a jump shot with range and a passing gear to get around defenders or play in transition. His leadership skills also improved a lot as a senior.NBA.com Scouting Report on Joseph Young"
