5. Vernon Adams Jr, Oregon-Senior

QB Rating: 146.1, 41 0f 64, 555 yards, three touchdowns, two interceptions.

Vernon Adams the transfer from Eastern Washington, played a great game against #5 Michigan State. Two interceptions and a overthrown pass to a wide open Byron Marshall saw the Ducks come up short 31-28. Adams despite his first game against a top five team in the nations threw for 309 yards against the Spartans. Reports now confirm he has a broken finger on his throwing hand, it is unsure how much it will affect him. One has to wonder if he will sit against Georiga State a gimme game, to rest and give Jeff Lockie the start. Adams has shown he can grasp the Ducks offense over the course of the first two games. With more time in the system, he can take the Ducks to another Pac-12 title. Oregon fell to Number 12 in the Nation following the three point loss to the Spartans. They are the only one-loss team in the Top 15.
