We’re getting down to the final few weeks of the PAC-12 regular season and we decided it was best to see what each team has to do in order to reach thitle game in Santa Clara at Levi Stadium.  As it looks in the first College Football Playoff Standings, Stanford is the highest ranked Pac-12 team, but they have a lot of work to do. It is an odd year in the Pac-12. Everyone has at least one loss and overall the Conference had taken the ‘eat their own’ approach when working toward the second year of the College Football Playoff.

To start the season, UCLA was the highest ranked team with the best chance, but after several losses the Bruins have fallen out of contention. The Stanford Cardinal was on the list, but stumbled out of the gate with a loss on the road at Northwestern. Utah came out of no where with a win at Michigan and streaked into Autzen Stadium to dominate the Oregon Ducks, but were beat by the USC Trojans. It has been that kind of season in the Pac-12. Upsets across the Conference will make it hard to get into the top five to earn a chance to play in the College Football Playoff. The first step is getting to the Pac-12 Championship Game and as it stands one team is on the right path. All they have to do is win.
