With the second best pass offense going up against the worst pass defense in the Pac-12 Conference I would look for Oregon to counter with one of their best weapons in Running Back Royce Freeman who appeared limited on the ground last week against Arizona State. He leads the team in touchdowns with 11 an had just 15 carries against Arizona State in their triple overtime win last Thursday night. He made them count with two touchdowns. Backup Kani Benoit also showed some talent and speed with a long touchdown run that had several fans and members of the media taking a second look at his quickness.

With Benoit and Freeman leading the charge in the backfield along with Taj Griffin, who is fiiting into the Offense as the changeup east west runner vs north to south, expect the running game to put some points on the board. It is important for Oregon to establish the run game early to find success, or it could be a long night for the home team once again this season. California Quarterback Jared Goff will go to the air and with young talent in the backfield for Oregon who is still trying to find their way this season it could prove a tough proposition to combat against.
